Join the interprofessional staff week in VIA University College, Denmark, Holstebro
Interprofessional cooperation in a Danish higher educational context
VIA Campus Holstebro has the following fields of study: Health, social work, building construction, and social educations.
What is the focus of the staff week?
We are looking forward to seeing you at the staff week with a focus on diversity and cultural meetings, the experience of a Campus placed in a rural area, the Danish model of welfare, the Danish view on education, didactic and communication – and internationalization at home and abroad.
The event will be held from 22nd to 24th November 2022 and is designed primarily for Higher Education professionals (teachers and administrative staff) within different fields of study.
The activities will be held both together with your specific education and all staff week participants together. It will give you the possibility to share experience and be inspired in your own study and across study borders and different cultures.

How is the week structured?
During the week, you will have the opportunity to participate in workshops, being part of teaching in classrooms, hear presentations of Danish perspectives, and administrative job shadowing. Throughout the week you will have the opportunity to network, share experiences and cooperate with staff from other fields of education/studies.
We will provide possibilities for visits to local institutions and businesses during the week. One of the evenings, we will invite you to a social dinner with local food.
You will be part of our International Day at Campus the last day of the visit. All first-year students will participate and there will be a Marketplace for presenting international themes and possibilities. We expect you to present and promote your home institution on this day. Please bring flyers, pictures, and other relevant materials.
Finally – yet important, we have organized a program that can offer you some social and cultural events with colleagues from an international range of institutions in order to make the most of your stay with us in the lovely city of Holstebro.
Breakfast Tuesday and lunch and dinner Thursday will be free of charge. Other meals are at your own expense.
