Learning a language means exploring its history, understanding its environment, tasting its food, and experiencing its traditions.
This edition of the Blended Intensive Programme combines Italian language lessons with cultural, experiential activities, guiding you through Cagliari’s most authentic dimensions.
Through dynamic lessons, cultural discovery, and guided experiences, you will practise Italian in real-life contexts, making your learning meaningful, practical, and immediately useful both personally and professionally.

Conveniently located near the historic centre, the ISMOKA Office will serve as the main meeting point for lessons, coordination, and activities.
Monday 22 June – History & Identity
15:00 – Welcome & Registration
Participant reception, programme overview, and distribution of learning materials.
15:30–18:30 – Italian Class: Introduction to the language and the city’s history
Communication basics and vocabulary to introduce oneself and describe places.
18:45–19:30 – Walk through Castello District & Historical Aperitivo
A short guided tour in Cagliari’s medieval quarter followed by an aperitivo with local products.
Tuesday 23 June – Environment & Biodiversity
8:30–12:30 – Italian Class: Language of nature and the environment
Vocabulary and speaking activities related to nature, landscapes, and environmental themes.
13:00–14:30 – Visit to the Botanical Garden + Light Lunch
Guided visit to one of Europe’s richest botanical gardens and outdoor lunch.
Wednesday 24 June – Sustainability & Territory
All day – Seminar: Microplastics and Mediterranean Protection
A thematic session focused on marine conservation and environmental challenges.
Thematic visit – Choice between two options
Molentargius Nature Park & Pink Flamingos
Guided exploration of the protected wetland area and overview of its environmental restoration.
Thursday 25 June – Traditions & Social Life
14:30–19:30 – Italian Class: Social language, customs, and local traditions
Collaborative activities, communication simulations, and guided conversation practice.
19:30 – “Giropizza” Dinner at Grotta Marcello
Informal dinner to experience a typical Italian convivial evening.
Friday 26 June – Food & Culinary Culture
8:30–13:30 – Italian & Cooking Class
Hands-on cooking and language workshop: prepare traditional Sardinian dishes while practising Italian.
13:30 – Final Greetings & Certificates
Closing session, feedback exchange, and certificate delivery.
Closing ceremony, feedback exchange, and delivery of participation certificates.
