You are warmly invited to apply to the Portucalense University (Porto) IV International Staff Week, taking place from Monday 23rd to Thursday 26th April 2018 to network, benchmark and share the best practices both at level of teaching and universities’ core functions.
For teachers the week offers the possibility to teach as a guest teacher in the following fields:
• business • economics
•law • International relations
• IT
• psychology • social education •tourism
Staff members have the opportunity to benchmark and share their expertise in the following services:
• careers • IT • international relations
• student services •quality management
• research & development
There is no charge for this staff week. Some social activities will request a payment, as for example, the visit to Douro’s valley (world’s heritage) comprising the taste of different kinds of Port wine.
The confirmed schedule of activities will be made available to participants in March 2018.
Preliminary programme:
Monday- afternoon – welcome and presentation of universities by participants; lectures
Tuesday – presentations/sharing practices by UPT and partner colleagues; crash course of Portuguese; job shadowing; lectures
Wednesday – national holiday – Trip to Douro valley (world heritage) the whole day – free fday or those who do not participate
Thursday- presentations by UPT and partner colleagues; crash course of Portuguese; job shadowing; lectures

In staff for teaching and staff for training, priority in the selection is given to the partner university applicants. Participation is possible in the framework of ERASMUS+ teacher/staff mobility or other mobility.
