Learning and teaching in an international context

Klaipeda University is pleased to announce 2nd International week „Learning and teaching in an international context“ to be held between 4th and 8th  May, 2015 in Klaipėda, Lithuania. This International Week is directed to teaching and administrative staff, dealing with international cooperation, exchange programmes and international students.

                 During International week Klaipėda University organizes a staff  training programme for teachers and/or administrative staff. The programme is filled with interesting seminars, panel debates, workshops, individual training and social activities.  It is a great opportunity for you to network with colleagues from different countries and Universities!

            Preliminary programme in brief:

 

4th May – welcome and get together meeting, presentations of participants (starting from 12 p.m.);

5th May – 9:00-12:00 workshops; 13:00-16:00 lectures or training;

6th May – 9:00-12:00 workshops; 13:00-16:00 lectures or training;

7th May – 9:00-12:00 workshops; 13:00-16:00 lectures or training;

8th May – optional excursion to Juodkrantė and Nida.

        Detailed programme will be send later. The official language of the International Week is English. The International Week will accept limited amount of participants. Please do not make travel arrangements before your participation is confirmed. The participants are expected to cover their travel, accommodation and meal costs themselves. The participants are recommended to apply for Erasmus+ grants from their home universities.
