Welcome to the second Staff Training Week for librarians in Aix-Marseille University!

Aix-Marseille University Libraries and the International Relations Office are delighted to announce that we will be hosting our second Staff Training Week for Librarians in June 2022! We place much faith in the value of meeting partners and sharing experiences. We hope that this event will serve to strengthen collaboration and consolidate the links we have with all our partner institutions.

For Whom? The program is designed for library professionals with varied backgrounds working in universities or other research oriented libraries with interest in sharing ideas, benchmarking of practices and networking with international colleagues. The number of participants is limited to 15.

When? The staff week will take place from Monday morning 20 June until Friday noon 24 June 2022.

Provisional Program:

The language of the program is English.

The program can be checked on the document attached down below. The staff week will consist of presentations by both the hosting team in Aix Marseille University and the participants for the week. There will also be visits to selected libraries. The themes covered during the staff Library week will include (but may not be limited to): teaching information literacy skills, library spaces and service design, special collections, open science.

Costs: Accommodation and travel costs to and from Marseilles are to be covered by the participants. Aix-Marseille University will provide lunch every day.
