University of Jyväskylä welcomes administrative and academic colleagues from universities around Europe on the second multidisciplinary Erasmus+ staff exchange week organized at JYU on 6-10 June 2016. The week’s program consists of four individual parallel tracks and joint social program for all participants. 

The four parallel tracks are:

The role of evaluation and quality management in education and research development

Focus: Utilizing feedback and data in the curriculum development process; Perspectives into the principal requirements of the ESG; Student participation and engagement in the quality management of the university.

Supporting excellence in research

Focus: Open science and open access policy and practice; Research ethics; Research data management; Research and doctoral education evaluation; Altmetrics; International university rankings

Student Life: paving the path for student success

Focus: The role of guidance and counseling in the student recruitment process and the student life span, Quality principles for guidance and counseling; Career counseling; Psycho-social support for students; Utilizing student and graduate follow up data in guidance and counseling

Student and staff mobility

Focus: Defining and demonstrating learning outcomes of student mobility; Successful welcome and orientation services for international students; Benefits and challenges of highly centralized Erasmus+ staff mobility process; Assessing the impact and disseminating the benefits of Erasmus+ staff mobility; Enhancing short mobility options for students; Challenges and opportunities of the Erasmus+  Global mobility
