Overcoming challenges in International Higher Education

In the midst of overload, can we still successfully accomplish our work? The challenges of our time in international higher education are numerous, including generational conflicts, digitalization, and communication strategies.

We are deligthed to invite you to our upcoming Staff Training Week at European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany, from June 12th to June 14th 2024!

We would like to network with each other and focus on current topics which we are all facing:

o   Generational conflicts

o   Digitalization

o   Communication strategies

How can we effectively address students' needs, navigate the landscape of digitalization, and communicate in a way that promotes internationalization? The main questions are about using digital tools without getting overwhelmed, bridging the gap between digitalization and generational differences, connecting with digital natives, and explaining complex issues in the age of platforms like TikTok.

We do not provide a ‘one-size-fits-all-solution‘, obviously. But we would like to tackle these challenges in a constructive way altogether. Through open discussions about our shared problems, mutual support and collaborative problem-solving, we hope to find meaningful solutions.
