Tech Transfer Office at Brno University of Technology is pleased to announce its 1st International Technology transfer staff week, which will take place at the Brno University of Technology (Brno, Czech Republic) from 20th to 24th July 2020.
The ITTSW will give participants a unique opportunity to find out more about technology transfer and IP protection in European context.
The 5-day programme includes lectures, seminars and roundtable discussions on topics related to IP protection, management and transfer in STEM oriented university in EU context. Visits to successful scientific teams and laboratories as well as social events are also planned.
The main objective of the programme is to facilitate networking, transfer of knowledge and sharing of experiences and best practices among colleagues from universities. The ITTSW is also opened to professionals from the private sector keen to understand the functioning of tech transfer from the perspective of the academia.
Participants are expected to bring into the discussion examples from their own institutions and present best practices or innovative approaches to the issues addressed.
TARGET GROUP: Technology transfer and IP protection professionals, preferably from a university background. The ITTSW is also opened to professionals from the private sector.
WORKING LANGUAGE: English (at least B2 level)
COSTS: Participation in International Week is 200 EUR which covers welcome dinner, coffee breaks and cultural activities. The participants are expected to cover their travel and accommodation costs and living expenses (it is recommended to use an Erasmus + grant provided by your home university). There are rooms available in a hotel near the venue for a special price.
REGISTRATION: Registration will be opened until April 15th 2020. After this term, the coordinators will contact the selected participants. Please, provide all necessary information in the application form in order to help us put together a unique blend of professionals.
