Saimaa Calling – International week “UPDATE 2017 on Higher Education”

Our international week has been a tradition for many years. During the week many leaders and professionals of higher education are networking in the workshops on topical themes.

To excel your knowledge and skills in higher education join like-minded colleagues on the beautiful campus of Saimaa University of Applied Sciences in the end of September, 2017. Beyond the topical presentations, you will have many opportunities to share experiences with peers from a wide range of higher education institutions. Traditionally the seminar brings together participants that are open to sharing new ideas and best practices among colleagues.

This year the highlights are:

• Performance measurement in higher education
• Job shadowing – sharing best practices for non-academic staff

The Saimaa Calling International Week is ideal for leaders, teachers and administrative staff in higher education. The participation of teachers and non-teaching staff can be combined with existing exchange programs and their funding criteria. If you are a lecturer, we look forward to you bringing your expertise to the teaching sessions on the international week. The topics of lectures are to be connected to some of the five fields at Saimaa UAS: Technology, Business Administration, Tourism and Hospitality, Fine Arts, Health Care and Social Services or Languages and Intercultural Communication.
