Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (ViA) is pleased to invite academic staff to join International Week 2020. The event will take place from March 30 to April 3, 2020, in Valmiera, Latvia.

ViA is well known for its international profile, highly qualified academic staff and integration of practical learning and theory. It is an independent hub of higher education and research, an internationally recognisable regional platform for higher education, science, knowledge transfer and ideas leadership. The study fields of ViA are Business Administration, Communication, Media and Governance, Information Technologies, Mechatronics, Tourism and Leisure.

This year the topic of International Week is "Society. Technology. Solutions"  with subtopics in tourism, media and information literacy, strategic communication, smart technologies and cybersecurity.

Our academic staff guests are invited to prepare and present lectures on different teaching and learning methods, seminars, workshops and participate in discussions on various subjects in English, within the study fields of our university (applicants are welcome to specify their fields of expertise regarding proposed lectures in the application form).
