Soft Skills in the International Setting

Erasmus Staff Training Week at the University of Economics in Katowice

The training titled "Soft skills in the international setting" is intended primarily for international office staff, however other university employees interested in the training are also welcome. 

The topics include:

Successful communication with students

• Communication barriers and difficulties
• Main sources of misunderstandings
• Effective communication channels
• Strategies for successful communication with students

Presentation skills and public speaking

• Most common presentation mistakes
• Nonverbal communication
• How to deal with stage fright
• Successful self-presentation

Apart from taking part in the courses, participants will have the opportunity to get to know our university and visit attractive places in the region (brewery, coal mine, Kraków).
