Spanish Language International Week

Are you interested in learning Spanish? Do you already know Spanish but you want to strengthen your knowledge? The Spanish language course offered by the Institute of Languages, service of the Catholic University of Valencia, is your opportunity to achieve your goal.  

As a higher education institution, the UCV offers one-week Spanish language course for teachers of Spanish as a foreign language, Administrative Staff who need Spanish for their day-to-day work to communicate effectively and representatives and colleagues from various units eager in learn Spanish.  

The course if offered in one-week programme or two-week programme from June 26 to June 30 and July 3 to July 7. It combines 20-hour lecture with cultural activities such as visiting the Museum of Arts and Sciences, Fallas Museum, historic centre city tour and rice museum.  

Aware of the fact that leaving your family behind in summer period is not easy for you and promoting family balance, we also offer the opportunity to bring your kids with you. You can sign up your children (born between 2011 and 2018) in our Children Sports Summer School taking place in our university from 9h to 14h at an extra cost. It is organised by our Sports Service Department with the objective of entertaining children during their summer holidays. The program includes several activities from sport practicing to handcraft workshops organised by our experts. The Summer School campus is located in a 15 minute walking distance from the Spanish Course Language Campus. 

We boast of being the best city to live in according to InterNations. Located in the Mediterranean Coast of Spain, Valencia is the third largest city in our country. We are very well connected by train and flight combinations with the main cities in Europe. The city offers a great opportunity of visiting beaches, modern architecture, and historic quartiers.

Registration fee: 395 € per week (20-hours Spanish language course) (Accommodation costs not included)

Notification of acceptance will be emailed by 8 May 2023.

Please, do not book your hotel/flight until your participation has been confirmed by our Institute of Languages Team.
