Ghent University (Belgium) is glad to invite you to take part in the Staff Training of Ghent University (March 4 - March 6, 2015).

The aim of this Staff Training is to welcome both teaching and non-teaching staff from our partner institutions abroad and share experiences with regard to the following theme: “Preparing our students for the job market : the added value of internationalisation”.

A preliminary programme can be found below. The program consists out of different workshops and a group visit to student facilities such as the housing department and student restaurants.

Before you apply, please note that:

 -          The main communication language will be English.

-           The places are limited to 15.

-          Registration fee : 350 EUR. In order to make the organization more comfortable for the participants, Ghent University decided to centralize the hotel reservations and restaurant bookings. Therefore, there will be a fee of 350 EUR, which includes:

o   Accommodation for all participants, for 3 nights. Each participant will have a single room with breakfast included.

o   3 lunches (out of which 1 fancy farewell lunch)

o   1 dinner at ‘Eetavontuur’. Belgian cooking workshop ! All participants will cook and eat a fully typical Ghent dinner, guided by professional cooks!

o   Information Kit

o   Certificate of Participation

o   Coffee breaks

o   Guided tour to the student facilities and to the city of Ghent

When will the selection results be announced?

We will inform you about the approval of your application by the February 6, 2015. Selected candidates will receive the final programme and payment details with regard to the registration fee.
