Dear International colleague,

We are pleased to invite you to our second International Staff Week in the University of Lille, France.

The aim is to share, discuss, discover and network around the theme of pedagogical innovation from the June 8th until the June 12th 2020.

The University of Lille counts around 75 000 students, and is one of the largest francophone universities. Its various campuses are spread into the city of Lille, ideally located at the crossroads of 3 capital cities : Paris (1 hour by train), Brussels (30 minutes by train) and London (1h30 by train).

Participants can be administrative and teaching staff, PhD researchers, researchers, professors, lecturers, etc. from European and non-European universities. We accept participants from all faculties and departments that may be interested in pedagogical innovation. A maximum of 15 participants will be selected for the training week.

The aim of the week is to share thoughts, ideas, experiences and best practices of tools for development of pedagogical innovation, while discovering University of Lille’s facilities around its campuses.

During this week, you will discover various places of the University of Lille related to pedagogical innovation, as for example :

• labs and manufacturing places ;
• library and working spaces facilities ;
• medicine and pharmaceutical simulation spaces ;
• a secondary education innovation center ;
• photography tool for pedagogical and heritage enhancement ;
• exhibitions lead by PhD doctors ;
• the Directorate of Pedagogical Innovation (DIP) facilities.

We provide visits of various places of the University, lunches and transportation inside the city of Lille for the week, a dinner and a contemporary art museum visit.
