Staff Week in Paris : Discover the libraries of the Sorbonne Nouvelle University

Dear colleagues,

The Sorbonne Nouvelle University is pleased to offer a five-day program dedicated to its libraries and collections.

The program will take place in Paris from June 22 to 26, 2026.

Program highlights

Tour of the Bibliothèque Sorbonne Nouvelle,

• Bibliothèque Sainte-Barbe : Communication for libraries,
• Bibliothèque Sorbonne Nouvelle : Open science and research services,
• Guided tour of the Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève and bibliothèque littéraire Jacques Doucet,
• Bibliothèque Sorbonne Nouvelle : Welcoming different publics at the library.

Courses will be held daily from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a group of 20 participants, ensuring an interactive and engaging learning environment.

Fees and practical information

The participation fee is 152€ per person and includes:

• Access to the five-day program and course materials,
• Welcome and farewell receptions,
• Cultural visits to the Bibliothèque Mazarine and BNF Richelieu, the Musée d’Orsay, the Château de Versailles, the Hôtel de Sens and its bibliothèque Forney.

Please note that participants are responsible for their accommodation, living expenses, and travel costs. Participants are expected to apply for an Erasmus+ Mobility grant through their home institution.

Kindly note that submission of the pre-registration form does not guarantee acceptance, and that the Library Staff Week may be canceled in the event of insufficient registrations.
