In the context of the Uni(di)versity project, that aims to promote overarching strategies for inclusion of refugees and migrants in the European Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), Sapienza University of Rome - in collaboration with UNIMED (Union of the Mediterranean Universities), UBSF (University of Barcelona Solidarity Foundation), EUA (European University Association) and in partnership with Campus France, IOM (International Organization for Migration) - organizes the Erasmus+ Joint Staff Training Week. The aim of the training is to provide participants with a set of instruments and hands-on activities to develop strategies aimed at integrating migration issues at all levels of institutional activities.

 

This Staff Week will allow:

 

  • through dedicated workshops, to develop skills 
  1. to analyse the institutional state-of-the-art and identify strengths and weaknesses;
  2. to identify needs and develop solutions;
  3. to design strategic plans;
  4. to develop intercultural communication skills;
  5. to embed migration issues into institutional activities (services, teaching and research);
  • the exchange of best practices for the development of new inclusion strategies in the European Universities.

The participants can be academic and administrative staff at all levels.
