It is our great pleasure to announce ELTE's upcoming International Staff Exhchange Week in the following topic:

Strategy and innovative solutions (and/or services) in the university libraries

 

TO WHO?

The program is targeted at library professionals with various backgrounds working in the universities or other scientific libraries with interest in sharing ideas, benchmarking of practices and networking with international colleagues.

WHAT?

The program will include general information about Eövös Loránd University Library’s, its services, and networks, and visits to the different library units on all university campuses will be organized.

 The program consists of presentations by both the hosting team and the selected participants, joint group work exercises and other interactive tasks.

•Mr Paul Ayris, Director of UCL Library Services & UCL Copyright Officer

•Ms Kira Stine Hansen, Deputy Director General of The Royal Library, National Library of Denmark; and head of Copenhagen University Library

•Ms Gyöngyi Karácsony , Debreceni University, University Library, General Director

•Mr Wolfram Seidler, Vienna University Library and Archive Services, System Libraria

•Ms Krisztina Egri, Veterinary University of Budapest, Archive and Museum

Selection Process

The applications will be assessed based on the applicant’s motivation letter and professional CV. Our International Office and the Directorate of the University Library will value the applicant's own contribution to the staff week(eg. in sharing good practices and ideas or willingness for active participation). We will also consider the geographical and linguistic diversity of the group while selecting the participants. All applicants will be notified of the results of the application process. Successful applicants will receive more detailed information with the letter of acceptance.
