Dear partners,

by the decision of the Rectorate of Suleyman Demirel University in Isparta (TR ISPARTA01), in accordance with the reccommendations of the Turkish Higher Education Council in Turkey, concerning the threat of coronavirus epidemic, incoming and outgoing student and staff mobilities are canceled until further notice. Unfortunately, in connection with this decision International Staff Week that is going to be organized between 13.04.2020 and 17.04.2020 by SDU is also cancelled.

Dear Partners and Colleagues,

 

 

It will be a great pleasure to host you at the Suleyman Demirel University - International Staff Week we are organizing between 13th – 17th of April 2020.

Suleyman Demirel University has been named after the ninth president of our country and it's located in the lakes region, the city of roses, Isparta.

Our University offers degrees in many fields such as medicine, law, engineering, fine arts, pedagogy, arts and sciences, economics, business administration and sport sciences with providing opportunities for master and doctorate degrees nearly in all fieds. With 15 faculties, 3 higher schools, 4 vocational schools and 47 research centers.

The university's aim is to avoid stereotype of thinking, to gain the ability to communicate with the World and being sensitive towards social values.

Accordingly, our university has implemented the Erasmus+ Exchange Programme in 2004, coordinated with the Bologna Process, realized Inter-institutional Agreements and achieved leaps in various scientific fields by realizing interdisciplinary research projects funded by foreign sources. With its social atmosphere, enriched living quaters, cultural and sports activities and clubs for various hobbies and lifestyles, not only grows professionals but also individuals who are well-equipped to engage in todays society and ready for the bright future of the World.

We believe that the International Staff Week will give us precious opportunities to meet colleagues from Europe and other partner countries. We are looking forward to meeting academic and administrative colleagues to experience both academic meetings and unique cultural events through the organization. Our partner universities and collegues will have the opportunity to give short presentations about their universities and there will be a session with presentations about "Best Practices".

Participants are expected to bring some brochures, leaflets and other materials to promote and introduce their institutions in the fair session. The programme is open for Erasmus+ Program Countries and also for Erasmus+ Partner Countries. The participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and build new partnerships in the week.
