HERAKLION CAMPUS | 13 – 17 May 2019

Dear Erasmus Partners, Colleagues and Friends,

It is our pleasure to announce the organization of our third International Week for teaching staff, at the School of Management and Economics, which will take place in Heraklion (the main academic campus of TEI Crete) from 13 to 17 May 2019.

The theme of this year’s International Week is «Entrepreneurship and New Trends in Tourism», however, other topics of interest are also welcome. Aiming to enhance students’ internationalization experience at TEI Crete, lecturers and teaching staff from our partner institutions are invited to deliver lectures to our U/G and P/G students, as well as to our Erasmus incoming students, in their areas of expertise. Classes are taught in English and are scheduled to take place daily from 10.00 to 17.00 between Monday 13th to Wednesday 15th of May. Participants can also interact with students and teaching staff through informal group sessions (‘brown bag seminars’) throughout the day.

There will also be opportunities for networking and socializing, including guided tours to Knossos Palace and the Heraklion Archaeological Museum.

If you wish to attend, please complete the online registration form no later than the 18th of March 2019. You will be notified by email for the final approval of your application for registration by the 21st of March 2019.

We very much hope to welcome you at TEI of CRETE, University of Applied Sciences.

* Colleagues from other faculties and departments are also welcome during the International Week. For teaching visit arrangements please contact the respective departmental academic coordinators.

We would like to invite you to participate in our 6th Erasmus Teaching Week focus on “New Topics in Engineering & Applications” which will be held in TEI of Crete, Chania Campus, between 20th and 24th of May 2019.

The “Erasmus Teaching Week” is an international scientific event organized every year, the last week of May, in the School of Applied Sciences of TEI in Chania, Crete. The week is also open to staff members who would like to have a training or to participate in a special session that is acting as Erasmus Staff Week
