TOBB University of Economics and Technology is delighted to invite academic and administrative staff from foreign universities to participate in our in-person International Staff Week from Monday to Friday (27-31 May 2024) in Bodrum/Mugla.
This week is directed to both academic and administrative staff (teaching staff, administrative staff, PhD candidates or researchers, etc.) with an English level of B1 or above.
The overarching theme of the event will be “Erasmus+ for Future”, which we would like to explore from the perspectives of university internationalization and civic engagement/third mission. This staff week will be an ideal opportunity to discuss hot topics, exchange new insights, or trade best practices about the Erasmus+.

The deadline for application is the 15th of March.
The results will be announced on the 16th of March.
Cost: Participation, coffee breaks, lunches, social programs, and cultural activities during the program are free of charge. Participants are expected to cover their costs for travel, accommodation, and meals not mentioned in the program.
We will fully support you in applying for funding under the Erasmus+ program at your home university. Therefore, please let us know if you need any documents or confirmation from our side.
Accommodation: Bodrum Institıute prefers Serpina Hotel (www.serpinahotel.com) in Gümbet/Bodrum so that the Staff Week participants have a special rate there. In 2023, all rooms at Serpina Hotel have been renovated with new design. The reservations at Serpina Hotel will be allocated on a ‘first come first serve’ basis. In case, the accommodation capacity will be sold out at the Serpina Hotel the organizers will reserve alternative hotels (in and around Gümbet, 4 and 5 star). Please note that the shuttle between hotels and the organisation venue will serve from Gümbet neighbourhood where Serpina Hotel and the other two offered options are located. You will see the two other options for accommodation close to Serpina Hotel, with also special prices, in the infopack and the application form. Accommodation is not covered. Participation fee: 425 EUR. It covers a welcome package, as well as coffee breaks and the boat trip as listed in the program.
Working language: English. We highly recommend at least a B1 (according to CEFR) level in communication.
Certificates: All participants who attend the program fully will be awarded Certificates of Attendance.

The Staff Week program will be divided into presentations and workshops combined with one-to-one coaching sessions.
Participants will be actively involved in all the processes, and interact in a dynamic scenery designed to foster dialogue and debate, being constantly challenged in the learning process.
