It is our pleasure to invite you to the 1st International Staff Week at University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE), which will take place from 23.11.2015 until 27.11.2015. The language of communication will be English.
Topic?
The staff week is focused on diversity and diversity management at universities. Throughout the week we would like to share our experiences and introduce you to diversity initiatives across various faculties and organization levels of our university. The programme will give the opportunity for in-depth discussions within the various fields of diversity and diversity management such as equal opportunities, internationalisation at home, advisory services, diversity monitoring, communications etc. Therefore we highly appreciate presentations from the participants. We are very eager to learn about your institutions diversity policy and good practices!
Who?
The programme is directed to non-academic university staff working in diversity management in their respective field of work. This includes central university administration, faculty level, decentral support units, project level.
How to apply?
If you are interested in participating in the staff week, we kindly ask you to fill in the application form and send it to to staff.week@uni-due.de. The deadline for applications is 30th September 2015.
Costs?
The staff week is free of charge. Participants are expected to cover their travel, accomodation and living expenses through the ERASMUS+ staff mobility funds or otherwise. UDE will cover the costs for the welcome dinner, coffee breaks and the guided tour.
