First joint Staff Erasmus+ Training Week “University, City and Region Cooperation” will be organized by seven major Universities of the Tricity Metropolitan Area of Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia, with the cooperation of the Marshal Office and City Hall in Gdańsk in the frames of “Study in Pomorskie” project, the collaboration of the higher education institutions, Marshal Office and City.

The event will take place on 2nd – 6th of December 2019. The place seems just perfect – northern Poland – the most internationally diverse region in Poland and also a unique blend of the millenial majesty of Gdańsk, artistic charm of Sopot and dynamic magnetism of modernistic Gdynia. The time could not be better either – charming pre-Christmas period with the glow and gleam of beautiful decorations around and the warm feelings of happiness and joy in our hearts. And then, the Participants – highly motivated and enthusiastic representatives of various regions and higher education institutions! Come, benefit and enjoy!

The City of Gdańsk and the Tricity Metropolitan Area have a long international history, dating back to as early as 1229. Today the Tricity is a cultural and academic hub of the Pomorskie region with an active student community of 54,000 students, including more then 3, 000 international students.

The objective of the Staff Week is to share the best practices with our Colleagues, to learn more about the management of International Office, to participate in discussion about mobility schemes, services offered at our Universities, administration of internationalization projects and more.

Additionally, our program of social activities, including pleasant leisure activities, will give you a memorable opportunity to get to know the staff of the International Offices and other colleagues from various higher institutions even better, plus you will have the chance to get more familiar with the cities of the Tricity Metropolitan Area.
