The University of Amsterdam and the University of Edinburgh are proud to present the International Staff Week ‘Welcome to the international arena’, which provides participants with the unique opportunity to visit two universities in two countries in one week.

Welcome to the International Arena!

Starting in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and proceeding midweek to Edinburgh, UK, delegates will be immersed in an interactive learning environment enabling them to:

• Develop personal and professional skills relating to cutting edge topics in student mobility and intercultural competence
• Participate in various social and cultural events
• Network with colleagues from an international  range of institutions

What to expect

This week provides us with an opportunity to share our thoughts, experiences and best practice in intercultural competence, personal skills development and student mobility. All delegates will be asked to contribute to our sessions to add value to our programme!
