Windows Into Internationalization, Option 1: Erasmus beyond Erasmus

Are you a professional working in career services, university libraries, research support, welcome services or international affairs?  ​

Then we are happy to invite you to participate in Freie Universität Berlin’s 11th International Staff Training Week 2023, which will take place for five full days from June 26 to June 30, 2023.

Five different units of Freie Universität Berlin’s central university administration, the Career Service, the Welcome Service for staff, the University Library, the Research Support Office as well as the Office of International Affairs have created a total of six interactive programs to engage with colleagues from all over the world during the week. The programs will allow enough time for sharing expertise, developing competences and peer learning as well as for networking, strengthening partnerships and socially interacting with colleagues from all four track.

Discover and make the most of the manifold new possibilities the new Erasmus+ programme generation has to offer!

Keeping pace with new funding possibilities and identifying synergies between different international projects and funding lines has become imperative for most global universities. But in times of unsure budgets, looming political crises, climate change, a pandemic and constantly changing frameworks, what should we focus on and how can we strategically use existing and long-standing programmes to create an added value and thrive? In our International Staff Training Week 2023, we will look at different aspects and angles of funding opportunities within Erasmus+ and how to make the most of these when it comes to creating synergies between strategic internationalization and individual student and staff mobility. Our focus is on networking with representatives from other institutions, discussing and exchanging experiences, good practices and challenges in order to further develop expertise and draw new motivation.

Registration

The registration process ended. Due to the high number of applications received, unfortunately no late applications can be considered.

Participation Fee

The participation fee is 100 € per participant, which includes a welcome package, lunches and coffee breaks, an evening reception and a joint boat trip. You are kindly asked to cover the participation fee as well as other expenses for travel, accommodation and dinner by using Erasmus+ training mobility grants.
