Winter Wonderland – Green campus

Our international week has been a tradition for many years, but this time timing is slightly different – We wish to welcome you to experience Finnish winter!

To excel your knowledge and skills in higher education, join like-minded colleagues on the beautiful campus of LAB University of Applied Sciences in the middle of February 2020.

This year the highlights are:

• Introducing the new university of applied sciences – merge of Saimaa UAS and Lahti UAS
• Digitalization in higher education – teaching and administrative point of view
• Green Campus – green progress
• Job shadowing – sharing best practices for academic and non-academic staff

International Week is ideal for leaders, teachers and administrative staff in higher education. The participation of teachers and non-teaching staff can be combined with existing exchange programs and their funding criteria. If you are a lecturer, we look forward to you bringing your expertise to the teaching sessions on the international week. The topics of lectures are to be connected to some of the fields at Saimaa UAS: Technology, Business Administration, Tourism and Hospitality, Fine Arts, Health Care and Social Services or Languages and Intercultural Communication.
