The Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) has the pleasure to invite you to its 2nd Erasmus Staff Training Week in the framework of the Lifelong Learning Programme which will take place from 30 June 2014 to 04 July 2014.
The 5-day programme includes round table discussions, presentations and social events. The main aim is peer-learning, transfer of knowledge and sharing of experience among colleagues from partner institutions. The participants will have the opportunity to get to know our University, receive information on how we work with our exchange programmes and other international activities while they will also meet their contact persons per department. In the context of cultural activities a guided tour in the historical centre of the City of Athens, a visit to the Acropolis and the New Museum of Acropolis will be organized. Our guests are more than welcome to participate.
The maximum number of participants will be 30 and the rule of first-come and first-served will be applied.
There will be no participation fees. Participants can apply at their home institution for an Erasmus Staff Training Week Grant and will have to cover all costs related to this mobility. The lunches/coffee-breaks mentioned in the Programme will be offered by AUEB free of charge to all our guests.
Regarding accommodation, our University cooperates with 3 hotels which are within walking distance from AUEB. The attached forms include all necessary information concerning prices, facilities, etc. for the 3 proposed hotels. Participants should make their reservation directly to the hotels indicating “AUEB – Erasmus Staff Training Week 2014” in order to have the price agreed. For better organisation, the Erasmus Office plans to send Erasmus students to the hotels in order to accompany our guests to AUEB. To this aim, upon confirmation of hotel reservation, an e-mail to Galanaki@aueb.gr would be much appreciated.
Please register by filling in the attached form. The deadline for receiving applications is Friday 20 June 2014.
