Cracow Language Teaching Staff Training Week provides an opportunity to exchange expertise and examples of best practice with an audience of language education professionals from higher education institutions. The event focuses on teaching languages in an academic environment as well as teaching languages for specific purposes. Make an impact and contribute to our programme by sending in a paper and becoming a speaker.

The programme will be organized under four main themes:

  • Blended Learning, ICT, Modern Technologies
  • Academic Skills
  • Language for Specific Purposes
  • Autonomous Learning

Who can apply?

  • Language teachers from higher education institutions.
  • EU-Applicants are requested to apply for an ERASMUS+ mobility at the International Office of their home institutions.
  • Applicants from partner institutions might be eligible for ERASMUS+ grants for incoming staff
  • Applicants from other institutions are invited to participate but should cover their own expenses.

Application deadline:

  • for presenters: 31 January 2020
  • for non-presenters: 15 March 2020

Please submit your proposal by filling in the Call for Papers form.

Registration for non-speakers (preferably foreign language teachers) will open on 10 February 2020.

Please find more details about Cracow Language Teaching Staff Training Week here.

We can receive up to 30 participants, and no more than 2 participants per university will be accepted, as we would like to have a diversified international group.

The confirmed schedule of activities will be made available in February 2020.
